The question underneath everything
What is governing the way you see?
Information alone does not produce formation. A person can know Scripture, receive revelation, hear God, and still interpret what is happening through fear, expectation, previous experience, religious assumption, a desired outcome, or a need for certainty.
You can receive exactly the right message while being internally positioned in a way that changes how you receive it. That is not a failure — it is simply something most of us cannot see on our own yet.
This journey exists to help that internal orientation become visible.
The Divine Flow
Learning to float
Years ago, Rising Ground received an image that became foundational to our understanding of the Divine Flow: people needed to learn how to swim.
But the deeper revelation was not about becoming better at fighting through the water. It was about learning how to float.
Floating requires learning to stop fighting against what is already capable of carrying you.
So the goal of this journey is not to teach you how to manage God’s process more effectively. It is to help you recognize where you are fighting, interpreting, striving, forcing, or trying to secure an outcome — so you can become increasingly responsive to God’s leadership instead.
And the butterfly
A caterpillar does not manufacture the butterfly. The design is already present; process reveals what was already contained within it. Formation is not trying to manufacture your identity — it is creating an environment where what is already true in Christ can shape how you perceive, surrender, and respond.
What Formation is actually doing
Five movements, worked out in your actual life
These are not five courses or weekly modules. They are movements that unfold across your real life over ninety days, in the order your own process actually takes.
Important
This isn’t another course.
There are no daily lessons to finish for the sake of finishing. Your actual life becomes the Formation material.

Formation helps you examine how you are perceiving and participating inside those real circumstances — the ones you are already living.
The role of AI
AI-guided — but never your spiritual authority
AI can
- ask meaningful questions
- reflect your own words back to you
- notice recurring themes
- compare earlier and later responses
- help distinguish what happened from what you believe it means
- remember your Formation history across the ninety days
AI cannot
- tell you what God said
- prophesy over you
- determine God's will
- replace prayer
- replace Scripture
- replace personal discernment
- replace appropriate human spiritual guidance
God reveals. You discern. Formation helps you become conscious of how you are participating in that discernment.
Prayer & Surrender Pauses
Sometimes the conversation stops on purpose.
Formation does not endlessly continue as AI conversation. At certain moments you will receive a specific question and be asked to step away — to pray, to sit with it, to spend time with God, and to return honestly.
You are never required to come back with a revelation.
Valid returns include
- “I don't know.”
- “Nothing came up.”
- “I'm still confused.”
- “I realized I'm afraid.”
- “I don't want to surrender this.”
- “Something became clear.”
The purpose is not to manufacture a spiritual experience. It is to keep your attention ultimately directed toward God rather than toward AI.
What changes over ninety days
A movement, not a curriculum
Days 1–30
Seeing
You begin seeing how you currently perceive and interpret God, yourself, your circumstances, uncertainty, outcomes, and waiting.
Days 31–60
Surrender & Position
The journey increasingly creates opportunities for surrender, and examines the position from which you are relating to God.
Days 61–90
Respond & Become
You increasingly learn to recognize what is available to respond to, and begin noticing who you are becoming through the process.
These are emphases, not rigid stages. Formation follows your actual process.
The goal
The goal is not to need Formation more.
The system becomes gradually less directive. Over ninety days you should increasingly be capable of:
- becoming still
- recognizing assumptions
- distinguishing what is known from what is being interpreted
- recognizing attempts to control outcomes
- surrendering what interferes
- remaining with uncertainty
- listening
- discerning
- responding to what becomes clear
The desired outcome is increasing spiritual malleability and dependence upon God’s leadership — not dependence upon AI.
Who this may be for

The Formation Journey is not:
- therapy
- mental-health treatment
- crisis care
- a prophecy service
- automated spiritual direction
- a replacement for church or community
- a way to guarantee answers from God
